Eng. Dr. Simpson Nyambane Osano is a senior civil and geotechnical engineer, Chair of Civil & Construction Engineering at the University of Nairobi, and a researcher with the Global Centre on Adaptation. He specializes in climate-resilient infrastructure, transport systems, and geotechnical engineering, and has led national infrastructure risk and resilience assessments in Kenya and the region. 3. Dr. Calvince Ouko Othoo, PhD – Climate Resilience, Adaptation & Risk Assessment Expert

Dr. Calvince Ouko Othoo is a Climate Change and Adaptation Specialist with over 10 years of experience supporting climate resilience planning, risk assessment, and adaptation strategies across Kenya. He has worked on World Bank–funded urban resilience programs, national climate policy development, and community-based adaptation initiatives. Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Nairobi, he combines academic depth with real-world implementation experience. Read More

Dr. Sabina Baariu is a GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist with extensive experience in climate vulnerability assessment, spatial analysis, and resilience planning. A Postdoctoral Fellow at ICCA, she has supported national infrastructure adaptation initiatives and energy-sector GIS systems.
