UNES organized a half day QMS Retreat on Monday March 22, 2021 to take a cross-sectional look at its processes after subjecting the procedures in to total review to ensure that the QMS Procedures take into consideration the ever-changing needs of the clients and business environment visa vie sticking to the ISO 9001:2015. This follows the successful conclusion of Internal Audit which was physically done by its Internal Auditors preceded by the Recertification of ISO 9001:2015.

The idea behind the review process was to take a regular and systematic step back from the day to day running of her functional processes and review the performance of its management systems, and their continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness and eventual continual improvement.

The importance of ensuring that systems remain focused on the direction of the business, are improved to reflect changes that have occurred in the UNES’s context and to take advantage of opportunities whilst fully addressing risky areas of the business, this is continuously done under the management review process.

Further UNES trained 20 Internal Quality Auditors through KEBS and were thoroughly taken through a program to ensure that they keep in touch with real business operations ground. UNES is now ready to improve its processes for Quality Service Provision to the Citizen and the General Public for greater return.
