The Public Health Planning for Hearing Impairment (PHPHI) course was converted successfully to on-line teaching in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 2021 PHPHI course will be held online in Hyderabad, India, Nairobi, Kenya, Islamabad, Pakistan, Manila, Philippines, and Harare, Zimbabwe.
I am very pleased that the PHPHI course will be held for the first time in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in June/July 2021.

The World Report on Hearing (2021) 1 has reported that there are 430 million people in the world who have moderate or worse hearing loss and 1153 million who have mild hearing loss. The report highlights that 80% of these people live in low and middle income (LMI) countries. Read More

Registration for Public Health Planning for Hearing Impairment Training

The university of Nairobi in conjunction with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine cordially invites you to the 2021 Annual ENT Training themed – Public Health Planning for Hearing Impairment. This training will be conducted virtually.

Target Audience:
Otologists, Audiologists, Paediatricians or allied hearing health professionals, especially in the communication sciences and health planning.

Date of the Training: 26th to 30th July 2021

Time: 8.30 am to 4.00 pm

Cost: KES 15,000 Exc. VAT
